A nun from the Sound of Music just bestowed that bit of wisdom upon me.
We had to stop on the drive up for a mini photo/ukulele session.
We stayed at a hotel and the little girlies loveddd the pool.
We bought lots of things. And by we, I mean I. I bought lots of things, but all things that I’ll need whilest being on a mission in Brazil for a year and a half.
We had a yummy yumkins smoothie and such.
We partied it up at Costcoland.
We read books and hid from alligators.
We played a lot of Lemur.
And then we drove home. Ahhhh home. Sweet home.
And I love playing lemur with her.
She’s gonna be so big when I get back from Vitoria, Brazil in April 2012.
I caught my
first king salmon
the other day.
Yippee skippee!
I wish I liked
to eat it. But
I’m sure after
my mission

Happy 5 year anniversary Dad and Lee!
Wishing you more time and happiness together.

Woke up at 4 am to road trip to Anchorage.
Went to the temple with my parents. Wow.
Got to see the wonderful Wilsons.
Shopped for goods in the big city.
Jammed to sweet tunes the whole way home.
Chatted and chortled with the fam bam.
So wish Jakey Bob would’ve been there too.
Realized that I am leaving in two weeks.
Wondering how I will say goodbye.
I’m sickie. It’s boring and not fun.
I’m just laying around, sleeping and staring.
Thought I’d share this little picture I took on Sunday.
Didn’t know we had such creepy spidies in AK.
Hopefully I encounter no spidies in Brazil. Not likely.
Sunday was beautiful and sunny!
Gave my farewell talk on stewardship.
I’d say it went swimmingly.

I spend muchos time at the beach, I wear tie dye everyday, and I take my ukulele with me everywhere.
I love summer. Not ready for it to end.
Mission in Brazil is coming soon!
A dream is a wish your heart makes.
The sunset was so absolutely beautiful last night, especially with my new camera!
P.S. Happy Birthday Janey! :)
I love summers in Homer, Alaska. And I love playing with my darling nieces.
I’ve had many most beautiful beach evenings lately. Me and Cody boy go down there after cleaning boats. Boat cleaning has been slow, like two boats a night. So I’ve got lots of beach time with my ukulele and dear ol’ doggy. It was so so beautifully starry one night and I saw two shooting stars and made lovely wishes! How magical.
I cleaned my sweet ride yesterday. I lovey love Penelope Q. Subaru. Holly dyed my hair dark dark brown the other day. Love it. And I’ve been sending out lots of mail lately. And went to lunch with a captain, waiting for my camera to come, working on visa paperwork and enjoying summer very muchly.
Here’s a birthday shout out to my favorite dad!
He’s pretty much one of the coolest dudes on the planet.
He’s hilarious too, always cracking me up.
And he is wicked healthy, taking such good care of the body.
He spends lots and lots of time out in beautiful nature, enjoying wonderful Alaska.
He takes me on all sorts of grand adventures.
And he teaches me all sorts of grand things.
I don’t know where I would be without this father of mine.
He makes my life so much better.
I am one lucky girl to have a dude man like him for my dad.
I have learned so muchos from him.
Hope you have the best day ever Pops!
I’ve been going through all my thousands pictures on my computer lately, reminiscing on good ol’ times, and listening to Round Table Discussions.
I’m deleting oodles of images too because I just have so many. And if a picture isn’t a framer and you never look at it, there’s really not too much point in keeping it. And I’m running out of space on my hard drive, so time to deleto.
Speaking of pictures, I just bought a new camera. I’m so excited!
Looking through all my pictures makes me miss a lot of things, a lot of times, a lot of places, and a lot of people. I especially miss this girl Carla. I sure wish she was always around to adventure and explore with me.
At least I’ve got Cody as an adventure buddy around here, but he sometimes smells and is kind of hairy. He barks on occasion too. But other than that, he’s the greatest. :)
